It's all a lie...

I like music. Music is good.
It calms you down, and helps you forget the world around you.
I like listening to it full blast with my headphones (unless it's a loud song, then I turn it down).

He stood up, limping to the computer, sitting down in front of it and nursing his injured leg. He opened a drawer and took out a mini-cd.
Putting it into the PC, he opened the application on it. Very soon, everyone would know the Truth.
The sound of the SWAT teams blasting the doors downstairs filtered through the door. He didn't have much time. All these years of work, only to die without seeing the results. He didn't really want to see the results.
He read out loud the words scrolling across his screen:
"It's all a lie. You life, your family, your job, your dreams. A lie. The Machine is controlling you all. I have seen it, with my own eyes. Agents of the Machine are everywhere, ensuring conformity, brainwashing you all. Your government are a part of the Machine. They are behind it all, creating their own perfect world. At birth, you were given to a set of parents, who were unaware of the child-swap. They want the rejects to remain rejected, and the prodigies to be brought up by prodigal parents.
"I've seen what they do to the so-called 'terrorists' and 'enemies to the state'. They are the real heroes, not your government sitting in their offices. They not only fight for the freedom of their people, but they fight for the freedom of all people. They fight against the Machine.
"I have attached pictures of the Machine's inhumanity, attached graphs and statistics. I will not survive this, but I know that you will know."
He pressed a button on his keyboard, and instantly the docement was sent to every computer on the internet, forcibly displaying itself on everyone's screen.
He took out a gun from the drawer, his hand shaking nervously. The SWAT teams were now banging on his door. He held the barrel against his head, and pulled the trigger just as the door exploded from the breaching charge.

A fitful spree

A classmate of mine had a fit the other day. At first we thought he was just showing off, until he didn't stop.
Turns out he had a cross between an epileptic fit and a panic attack.
At least he's alright, and didn't get hurt.

On a different note, I've been trying out some MMO's recently.
Rappelz is so far the best, most complete free to play MMO.
WoW, if you can afford it, then do it! Now! seriously, what are you waiting for?
I tried Silkroad online, but gave up after 2 days of trying to get into servers filled with botters. They should impliment a queue system.
Archlord was a good concept, just it didn't have enough flesh to it.
Perfect world was the opposite, it tried to be too many things at once. Nearly ended up like an epic fail.

Still, I'll be sticking to WoW and Rappelz for now. I might want to try Eve Online sometime soon, though...

Dark Deeds spur the Devil's Steeds

Nothing too interesting happened today. So I'll kick it off with a saying.

"Poke the lion once, you get your thrill.
Poke the lion twice, you giggle in glee.
Poke the lion thrice, you get bitten with rile."

First post

This is my first post. A blog about random rantings.
I'll mostly post things like the random peom I occasionally write, or an extract of a story. Or maybe even a story in it's own.

"Man's fate is to die in peace, a white hot fire burning away their impurities. Men will sit, pressing buttons, destroying humanity."
